PRODUCT INFORMATION I design and stitch custom made weighted blankets, lap pads, vests, hats, shoulder wraps, bibs (Toddler through Adult sizes), and Animals "Critters" (to drape around your neck) at very affordable prices and exceptional quality. Weighted products provide deep pressure touch stimulation providing a naturally calming effect. Customers who have benefited from the deep pressure touch stimulation include, but are not limited to, those of all ages that are dealing with Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, PDD-NOS, ADD, Bi-Polar Anxiety, Sleeping Disorders, Parkinsons, and other sensory issues. I stitch cooling vests & hats which have been have been found to effectively cool individuals dealing with elevated/irregular body heat (such as MS) and/or utilizing wheelchairs especially during outdoor activities in the warm/hot months of the year. I have recently added weighted ragdolls. The blankets, vests, lap pads, & hats have removable weights which make them easier to wash/dry & also allows extra weight to be added if necessary. All items can be machine washed & dried. I weight my products with poly pellets manufactured by

Who is "Stitches"?
I retired 3 years ago from federal service and at the suggestion of a friend started making weighted blankets. One by one I have added items as they are requested. Most items are embroidered and personalized; every item is custom made. I don't want anyone that receives one or more of my products to get "just another textile"!

Gus & I were approved as a Therapy Dog Team last week. We are waiting on his paperwork to come back which will provide his official certification & then we're going to have so much fun as a member of the Paws to Care Therapy Group. JAJ Dog Training /Paws to Care is embarking on what will hopefully be a wonderful partnership with the Central Georgia Autism Family Support Group. What better way to raise the Central Georgia community's awarewess of Autism & other challenges than dogs & kids!!
